I am the Beauty Editor at Anokhi Media, a South Asian lifestyle magazine based in Toronto. I contribute to the monthly digital magazine, which includes features, product pages, Q&As, and expert articles. I edit all incoming issues from freelancers and experts, liaise with PR representatives, interview industry professionals, and work with the EIC, Copy Editor and Art Director on page edits.

At Forbes Travel Guide (formally Startle), I was a correspondent for the city of Toronto. I wrote blog posts on the best to see and do in the city, with a focus on first-time visitors and tourists. I also had the opportunity to visit high-end restaurants, hotels and spas to get one-on-one tours and provide readers with honest and informative reviews.

I participated in Trend Hunter‘s first internship program. As an Assistant Editor, I wrote upwards of 20 trend posts a day, and edited incoming posts from fellow interns and other community members. I also spearheaded the celebrity interview program, where I had the opportunity to interview 11 actors and musicians, including Russell Peters, Brian White and Ryan McPartlin. Following the end of the summer internship, I stayed on as part of a small launch team for Chief Trend Hunter Jeremy Gutsche’s book, Exploiting Chaos. My time at Trend Hunter resulted in more than 1,000 trend posts, garnering more than 7 million views.

I was a food and celebrity news editor at Foodista. My blog posts revolved around food trends, celebrity diets, food-centric television and news from well-known chefs. I also interviewed various chefs, celebrities and cookbook authors on their latest ventures. With Foodsita, I had the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas to dine at some of the city’s finest restaurants and interview their renowned chefs.

At Want To Dance, I was regular Guest Blogger, providing recaps of dance-centric reality television shows such as Dancing With The Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. I reported on episode highlights and provided opinions and predictions about the competition.
